He was born in Buenos Aires. He studied Photography, Art Direction Art History and Design.

He has worked as an art director for very important clients at the following advertising agencies: Agulla & Baccetti, Vegaolmosponce and Young & Rubicam Buenos Aires. While working at this last agency, he started directing ads on his own and together with other creative teams.

He later left the agency in order to start working as a full-time director at the Nunchaku Cine production company. He has filmed ads for Argentina, Central América, USA and Europe.

In 2007, together with Lucas, he starts his own company, Urquiza Pank Films.

In 2008 he makes the shortlist at Cannes Festival with his campaign for Easy, with the Argentinian agency Del Campo Satchi & Satchi.

Parallel to his work as a music video and documentary director, he has edited three photography books and has often showcased his artwork, which includes photography, painting and collage.
