Biography

Amardeep (known to many as “Arm”) was born in India.  At a young age, his family fled to America because of religious persecution.  The move was a shock that he will never forget.  His work as an artist has always revolved around international humanism - each film and project diving head first into the land of character and emotion.

As he completed his MFA from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design, he produced, directed, and edited his first independent feature, Baby Blues ($1.1 million).  This movie focuses on a lonely mother who succumbs to a battle with post partum psychosis.  After completing the degree, he moved to Los Angeles, and currently shoots, directs, and edits for a number of clients.  His work as a cinematographer with the Dallas Habitat for Humanity (Moroch Agency), earned the campaign a Gold Addy.  After that, Jacob’s Turn - a short documentary which focused on a very unique child with Down’s Syndrome - won him a Silver Telly for direction, cinematography, and editing.

To date, he has authored content for the likes of Mcdonald’s, TAG body spray, AT&T, Capital One, UGG shoes, Levis, Toyota Prius, Incredible India, and the ’08 Obama Presidential Campaign.  He works as a director/cinematographer out of Los Angeles.
